Long awaited kitchen pictures

Here's the back door and the spot where the stove will be. Right now there's no roof at all. It's just open
Clinton and the boys building beams.
Frame for the roof
Sink and stove added. The laminate you see is plastic laminate that we rolled out.
Here's another view. As you can see the back is open. But it's better that way...... i have a breeze. : ) The coat hangers you see there at the top left, is where I hang out my laundry. And the little room that the sink is up against, is where my washer is.

  1. Hi! I just found your blog through Steph's blog (I think she's your co-worker). Anyhow, my family and I are missionaries in Indonesia, but the reason you stuck out to me is because I remember reading an article from you in Above Rubies...am I right?!
    Just wanted to say hello!
    Blessings,
    Joy

  4. Hello,
My name is Ralph Schaber, and I saw you at the fire school missionary's conference a year and half ago. I was really impressed by your attitude and your pure heart for the Lord. You seem to have no guile in you, and I have never met a christian like that before ever. I can usually tell when a person harbors darkness in them. Anyway, I have started contributing to your missionary work. I always give this warning to missionaries that I give. Please do not squander the resources of the Lord. Live Frugally, study your Bible, and always give the true gospel of Jesus and not the Gospel of man. Follow not your own heart or the heart of another man, but follow the heart of God almighty.
